Integration Update: Threat.Digital Risk Intelligence and Aravo
Threat.Digital integrates with Aravo to support due diligence and monitoring within third-party risk workflows.
Aravo customers can incorporate Threat.Digital’s adverse media, due diligence, and external risk intelligence into established third-party risk management workflows.
We first announced the Threat.Digital integration with Aravo in 2024, when DiligenAI was connected with Aravo’s platform to support adverse media screening and third-party risk research.
A lot has changed in third-party risk technology since then, including both platforms. The basic reason for the integration is the same though. External risk information is more useful when it can be brought directly into the system where a third party is already being assessed, monitored, and managed.
External intelligence inside the TPRM workflow
Third-party risk programs draw from several kinds of information. Questionnaires, certifications, contracts, and other documents provide information directly from the third party. Risk teams also need external information from sanctions and watchlists, corporate records, adverse media, public sources, and other research. Threat.Digital provides that external research layer.
The integration allows relevant findings about companies and individuals to be incorporated into Aravo workflows. Threat.Digital searches and analyzes broad public-source information, resolves findings to the correct subject, and returns structured risk intelligence for review.
For the user, the value is that research can become part of the third-party record rather than a separate process that has to be conducted elsewhere and manually brought back into the TPRM platform.
A natural fit with how Aravo has evolved
Aravo has continued to develop its platform around the full third-party lifecycle, from onboarding and due diligence through continuous monitoring, remediation, and offboarding. Its Intelligence First platform also supports integrations with external data providers so organizations can bring additional intelligence into their own risk processes.
That model fits well with Threat.Digital because different organizations use external information differently.
A new adverse media finding might trigger an immediate escalation in one program. In another, it may change a risk score, initiate additional due diligence, or become part of the record for an analyst to review. Aravo manages those workflows and business rules; Threat.Digital supplies the underlying research and risk intelligence.
The result is more flexible than forcing every customer into the workflow of a standalone screening product.
From initial diligence to continuous monitoring
The same approach applies after onboarding.
Third-party risk changes over time. Regulatory actions, sanctions exposure, ownership changes, adverse media, and other events can emerge months or years after an initial assessment.
Aravo has increasingly built its platform around continuous third-party risk management, including ongoing monitoring and reassessment as new intelligence becomes available. Threat.Digital can provide updated external risk information that feeds those processes.
For organizations managing large third-party populations, connecting new information to the existing assessment, issue-management, and remediation process makes it easier to determine what actually requires action.
The integration in 2026
Since our original announcement, Aravo has continued investing in automation and intelligence within TPRM, including the launch of Aravo AI and its Intelligence First platform.
Threat.Digital has also expanded considerably. What began primarily as AI-assisted adverse media research now includes broader automated due diligence, continuous monitoring, entity and relationship analysis, and risk intelligence available through API.
Those developments make the integration more useful today than when we first announced it.
For Aravo customers that want to add Threat.Digital to their existing workflows, the integration is available today.
